Description |
The Broad River Road Corridor and Community
Study is a partnership between Central Midlands Council of
Governments and the Richland County Neighborhood Improvement
Program. The purpose of the study is to develop a
comprehensive transportation and land use improvement
program for the corridor. The project which is
scheduled to be completed in August of 2010 will be led by
an experienced consultant team composed of IBI
Group, Strategic Planning Group, Inc., Hall Planning and
Engineering, Inc., and McCreary/Snow Architects.

Public Meetings |
We just concluded our first round of public
meetings which were held at Dutch Square Mall on December 7,
8, and 9, 2009. The purpose was to
present an introduction to the project and to provide a
chance for community residents to comment on existing
conditions in the corridor. To download a copy of the

be holding another round of public meetings in the Spring of
2010 which will include an interactive community design charette. Stay tuned for details!
