Administration
Providing day to day operations for CMCOG
 The
administration department, under the leadership of our Executive Director,
Norman Whitaker, is responsible for the day to day operations of Central
Midlands Council of Governments. The Executive Director reports directly
to the Board of Directors and is responsible for providing leadership,
oversight and guidance to management and staff working toward the achievement
of the mission and strategic goals of the agency.
Central Midlands COG administration staff is also charged with providing
an array of support functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running
of the agency's various and diverse departments. Tasks range from staffing
board and committee meetings to the compilation of agendas, reports,
minutes and other documents required to maintain records of all public
meetings within the agency.
