Land Use Planning
Since
the agency's creation in 1969, CMCOG has provided land use planning
and general technical administrative support to its member local governments
in the form of staff support and individual project efforts. Today,
CMCOG continues to provide technical assistance to area and local governments
on land development matters including, but not limited to, the preparation
of land use plans, fringe area studies, zoning ordinances and subdivision
regulations or other specialized studies. This service is extended to
any local governments in the region and is paid for on an individual
project basis.
